MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak has said that Ukrainian drones targeted two oil refineries located in Russia’s Saratov and Ryazan regions.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum, Alexander Novak said that according to preliminary information from the Russian Energy Ministry and relevant companies, the attacks on both refineries were carried out on Wednesday.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister said these attacks show that the Ukrainian side is showing no signs of moving toward stopping attacks on energy facilities or a proposed energy ceasefire.
He did not provide further details on the damage caused to the refineries by the attacks, possible casualties, or the impact on oil production.
