Rawalpindi (Voice of Russia): Security forces conducted successful intelligence-based operations in North Waziristan and Mastung, killing 18 militants.
According to ISPR, the operations were carried out on credible intelligence about the presence of militants in the areas.
During the operations, security forces effectively engaged the militants’ hideouts, resulting in the elimination of 18 militants.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed militants during the operations.
Sanitization operations are being carried out to eliminate any remaining militants in the areas.
The security forces remain determined to thwart attempts to sabotage peace, stability and progress in the country.
