Moscow (Voice Of Russia) Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held the annual meeting with the chairpersons of parliamentary committees from CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) member states responsible for international relations, defense, and security issues. The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of CSTO member states and the CSTO Secretary General T.Sh. Masadykov.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the multifaceted cooperation within the CSTO framework and discussed priority areas for 2026 under Russia’s chairmanship, with a focus on strengthening inter-parliamentary ties and coordinating foreign policy. Attendees exchanged views on key international and regional issues.
Awards were presented to Russian Foreign Ministry officials with CSTO honorary distinctions, and representatives of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat received recognition from the Ministry.
