MOSCOW (Voice of Russia) — Laboratory tests have been completed on people who came into contact with a woman who died of pneumonia of unknown etiology in Russia’s Irkutsk Region.
According to Russia’s sanitary watchdog, two of the contacts were diagnosed with Covid-19 and two with rhinovirus infection. No other infectious disease pathogens were detected in any of the contacts.
The agency said the situation remains under full monitoring and there is no cause for public alarm.
