MOSCOW (Voice Of Russia) Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed the situation in the Middle East and called for a swift end to hostilities during a telephone conversation.
Putin also thanked Azerbaijan for assisting with the evacuation of Russian citizens from Iran amid ongoing attacks. The leaders reaffirmed their intention to further develop bilateral cooperation in various fields.
