LAHORE (Voice of Russia): The marital relationship between renowned Pakistani film industry actor Moammar Rana and his wife Mehnaz Parvez has legally come to an end.
The Lahore family court issued a khula decree in favour of Mehnaz Moammar Rana.
During the hearing of the case, lawyer Khadija Siddiqui presented arguments on behalf of Mehnaz, after which family court judge Zahid Bashir announced the verdict.
Earlier, in an interview, Moammar Rana had expressed a desire for reconciliation with his wife, saying that he did not want their relationship to end.
It may be recalled that Moammar Rana married Mehnaz Parvez in 1998 at the peak of his career. The couple has two daughters, Riya and Rania.
