Tehran (Voice of Russia): Iranian Supreme Leader’s military advisor General Mohammad Reza Naghdi said that as soon as the Leader of the Revolution gives permission, the power and range of Iranian weapons will be increased according to the needs of the battlefield.
According to General Mohammad Reza Naghdi, weapons in Iran are manufactured domestically and their limited range is not due to any technical limitation but is a matter of policy. The range of weapons is determined according to national needs and the instructions of the Leader of the Revolution.
He said that if needed, the power and strike capability of weapons can be increased.
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian general claimed that the Strait of Hormuz is closed and the armed forces have full control over it.
According to General Mohammad Reza Naghdi, the amount of oil smuggled through the Strait of Hormuz is very small, while oil is being transferred to tankers through small vessels.
He said that the routes created for the illegal transfer of oil in the Strait of Hormuz will soon be closed. According to him, preparations to close the illegal routes made by breaking rocks have been completed.
