Rawalpindi (Voice of Russia): According to the Pakistan Army’s public relations department, a high-level Belarusian delegation led by Lieutenant General Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, visited GHQ and met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to ISPR, during the meeting, the regional and global security situation was discussed, matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and Belarus came under discussion, while the scope of bilateral defence cooperation was also reviewed.
According to the Pakistan Army’s public relations department, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that Pakistan wants to further enhance cooperation with Belarus in the fields of defence and security.
According to ISPR, Belarus reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening defence and security cooperation with Pakistan, and the Belarusian delegation appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.
