Lugansk(Voice Of Russia) More than 130 civilians in Russia have been affected by Ukrainian attacks over the past week, including 14 fatalities, according to Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large.
Miroshnik said that a total of 133 civilians were impacted, with 119 injured, including 10 children. The highest number of casualties was reported in the Belgorod, Kherson, Zaporozhye, and Bryansk regions, where civilian areas were targeted with drones, rockets, and artillery.
He noted that the majority of deaths and injuries were caused by drone strikes, with 117 civilians — about 87% of the total — affected by UAV attacks.
The diplomat also alleged that Ukraine has been using drones to remotely mine civilian infrastructure. He cited incidents in the Donetsk People’s Republic, where four civilians were injured in explosions, including two at a cemetery, and in the Kherson region, where a civilian vehicle hit a mine.
According to Miroshnik, up to 3,000 munitions were launched by Ukrainian forces targeting Russian territory over the past week.
