MOSCOW (Voice Of Russia) Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which the leaders discussed the worsening situation in the Middle East.
Putin emphasized the need to prevent further escalation and resolve the conflict through negotiations. He also congratulated the Emirati leader on his 65th birthday and thanked the UAE authorities for assisting Russian citizens currently in the country.
Both leaders noted that Russian-Emirati relations continue to develop dynamically across multiple areas.
