Jeddah (Atif Wattoo): Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has inaugurated a Smart Engineering Center at the Prophet’s Mosque under the Ramadan operational plan to enhance command and control mechanisms.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the CEO of the General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Engineer Ghazi bin Dhafer Al-Shahrani, along with other senior officials.
According to officials, the Smart Engineering Center will enable improved and digitally driven monitoring of services and operational performance at the Prophet’s Mosque. The system is connected to digital operational data through interactive screens, allowing real-time assessment and enhancement of services provided to worshippers and visitors.
The authority stated that the initiative aims to utilize advanced digital technologies to offer pilgrims a more efficient, seamless, and enhanced service experience during Ramadan.
