Belgorod (Web Desk) The Russian city of Belgorod has come under its most massive shelling attack, according to a statement from the regional crisis center.
“The heaviest shelling attack on Belgorod has taken place. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. Energy facilities have been damaged, and maintenance and emergency response teams have been dispatched,” the statement read.
Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the attack presumably involved HIMARS rockets.
The crisis center added that the shelling caused fires. “Falling debris damaged the roofs of two private houses in the village of Tavrovo in the Belgorodsky District. Efforts are underway to gather information about the full extent of the damage,” the statement said.
