Moscow(Voice Of Russia): Russia\u2019s Progress MS-33 resupply spacecraft is set to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, delivering more than 2.5 metric tons of cargo.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the spacecraft will dock with the Poisk module of the Russian segment of the ISS at 4:35 p.m. Moscow time. Due to a malfunction in one of its antennas, the docking procedure will be carried out manually by the crew instead of automatically.<\/p>\n

The spacecraft is transporting a total of 2,509 kilograms of supplies, including 1,211 kilograms of dry cargo, scientific equipment for experiments, 828 kilograms of fuel, 420 liters of potable water, and 50 kilograms of oxygen to support the station\u2019s crew and systems.<\/p>\n

Progress MS-33 was successfully launched on March 22 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome aboard a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket. Its journey to the orbital laboratory lasted approximately 49.5 hours.<\/p>\n

The Progress series spacecraft plays a vital role in maintaining ISS operations by delivering fuel, food, equipment, and other essential supplies, as well as helping adjust the station\u2019s orbit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
