Moscow (Voice Of Russia):\u00a0 A fire that broke out in a residential building in central Moscow has been extinguished, leaving three people dead, according to Russia\u2019s Emergencies Ministry.<\/p>\n
The blaze occurred in the elevator hall and partially in the stairwell on the second floor of a nine-story residential building, spreading across an area of about 100 square meters.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders evacuated 19 residents, including five children, from the building.<\/p>\n
Earlier reports confirmed one fatality and five injuries, but two more victims later died while receiving medical treatment, raising the death toll to three.<\/p>\n
A total of 86 personnel and 23 units of firefighting equipment were involved in extinguishing the blaze. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
