TEHRAN (Voice of Russia): Iran has decided to further expand the list of targets for attacks in the event of a possible new war with the United States and Israel.<\/p>\n
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until American conditions are met.<\/p>\n
According to the Iranian military chief, the armed forces have prepared a new list of various targets belonging to the United States and Israel, while military planning is also under way to respond to any possible attack.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has also instructed the armed forces, in the context of American and Israeli threats, to give an immediate response to any threat beyond geographical limits.<\/p>\n
According to the Iranian Supreme Leader’s statement, the military leadership has been ordered to include all tangible and intangible assets of the enemy in the new target list.<\/p>\n
Earlier, the news agency Reuters had reported that Iranian military commanders were considering expanding the scope of their retaliatory measures in the event of a possible American attack. These could also include installations of countries that support American military operations.<\/p>\n
Iran has also considered preparations for a possible joint response with its allied groups in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq.<\/p>\n
