MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged that the power supply situation has become complicated in various regions of Ukraine due to continued damage to the energy infrastructure, while hundreds of thousands of households are without electricity.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on his Telegram channel on Saturday, the Ukrainian president said that thermal power plants in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkov were targeted in attacks.<\/p>\n
According to Zelensky, four power substations in the Dnipropetrovsk region were also damaged.<\/p>\n
The Ukrainian president said that the power supply situation is difficult in various regions of the country. Around 200,000 households in the city of Dnipropetrovsk and its surroundings are without electricity, while more than 80,000 households in the Kyiv region are not being supplied with electricity.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Russian Ministry of Defence had earlier announced that Russian forces had targeted those facilities of Ukraine’s logistics and energy infrastructure which, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence, were being used to meet the needs of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
