Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the request was made directly by President Trump, who suggested a one-week pause in attacks to support ongoing negotiation efforts. However, Peskov did not specify whether Moscow had formally responded to the proposal.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have nothing more to add beyond what has already been stated,\u201d the Kremlin spokesman said.<\/p>\n
