Russia will ensure the full security of its border areas, and the security-zone matter will not be part of possible peace talks with Ukraine.

He instructed the commanders of Russian military groups to continue operations in line with the set goals of the special military operation, saying that large and mutually coordinated strikes against Ukrainian defence installations and logistics centres must continue.

The Russian president described the results of recent operations against targets linked to the Kyiv government as positive. He said that the full liberation of the Donetsk People’s Republic is among Russia’s key battlefield priorities.

According to Putin, the Russian army is advancing along the entire front and its pace has increased notably recently. In September alone, more than 1,300 sq km in Donbass and Novorossiya came under Russian control.

He said that since the start of the year, about 6,500 sq km of territory and 310 settlements have come under Russian control.

President Putin called the control of Dobropillya in Donetsk a major success for the Russian army, and thanked all servicemen who took part in the operation.

He said the Ukrainian army had turned the city into a strong defensive centre, but Russian units, acting in a coordinated and professional manner, first encircled the Ukrainian forces there and then took full control of the city.

According to Putin, control of Dobropillya opens a direct route of advance toward Donetsk’s administrative borders.

He also called the control of Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and the start of operations against Ukrainian defensive positions in Druzhkovka and Kramatorsk important. According to the Russian president, this progress could accelerate the freeing of Donbass from Kyiv’s military units.

The Russian president also called the encirclement of a Ukrainian group of about 2,000 troops in the Kharkov region an important military success. According to him, the encirclement was established over an area of about 460 sq km.

Putin said that in the Zaporozhye region too, the Russian advance continues rapidly, and the troops of Battlegroup Dnepr and Battlegroup East are advancing successfully.

He called the professionalism, morale and loyalty of Russian soldiers and officers the decisive factor in the advance.

The Russian president praised the performance of air-defence units, saying that the protection of civilian and military installations needs to be made more effective.

MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russian forces will continue large, coordinated strikes

[10,3

post-2013","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-breaking-news","category-russia-news
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",1020,650,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",150,96,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",300,191,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",640,408,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",640,408,false],"1536x1536":["https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",1020,650,false],"2048x2048":["https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",1020,650,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",825,526,false
https://voiceofrussia.net/en/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/7509f46f8321fcc1a3ba7c60d124679a9f5d8d095308361e60ef3206dfd5a06c.jpg",590,376,false
admin
Breaking Russia
["GET
