MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan have discussed promoting trade, economic and energy cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the current goals for further accelerating cooperation between Russia and Turkey in the trade and energy sectors were reviewed.<\/p>\n
The Russian Foreign Ministry said the two ministers paid special attention to ongoing work on the two countries’ important joint projects and progress in their implementation.<\/p>\n
