MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Russia’s Defense Ministry has claimed that over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense systems destroyed 883 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones, while the Ukrainian army suffered total personnel losses of about 1,285 troops across various fronts.<\/p>\n
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 260,703 Ukrainian military drones have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.<\/p>\n
The statement said that yesterday in the area of Battlegroup North, the Ukrainian army lost more than 270 personnel, one tank, eight military vehicles, one artillery piece and one electronic warfare station.<\/p>\n
On the Battlegroup West front, the Ukrainian army lost about 230 personnel, one armored vehicle, 17 military vehicles, three artillery pieces and four electronic warfare stations.<\/p>\n
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, in the Battlegroup South area, about 160 personnel, four armored vehicles, 31 military vehicles and one artillery piece were destroyed.<\/p>\n
On the Battlegroup Center front, the Ukrainian army lost about 345 personnel, seven armored vehicles, eight military vehicles, three artillery pieces and one Grad multiple rocket launcher.<\/p>\n
In the Battlegroup East area, it was claimed that more than 240 personnel, one armored vehicle, eight military vehicles and one artillery piece were destroyed, while on the Battlegroup Dnepr front, the Ukrainian army lost up to 40 personnel, 20 military vehicles, two artillery pieces and two electronic warfare stations.<\/p>\n
The Defense Ministry said that in the Kharkov region, Russia’s Battlegroup North further tightened the encirclement of Ukrainian forces. Russian units continue fighting for control of the areas of Nikolaevka, Varvarovka and Nefyodovka.<\/p>\n
According to the statement, encircled Ukrainian units lost about 60 personnel, one vehicle and five unmanned ground robotic platforms over the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n
The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that Battlegroup Center, advancing in the city of Dobropillya in the Donetsk People’s Republic, took control of 286 buildings, including three industrial buildings.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, Russian forces also targeted Ukraine’s military-industrial and transport facilities, drone manufacturing workshops, drone warehouses, and temporary positions of Ukrainian military units and foreign fighters. According to the Defense Ministry, these strikes were carried out at 142 different locations.<\/p>\n
The Russian Defense Ministry said that since the start of the special military operation, 674 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 260,703 drones, 672 air defense missile systems, 31,216 tanks and other armored vehicles have been destroyed.
