MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have not abandoned their planned visit to Russia, but will come to Moscow once they have a clear understanding of Kyiv’s position.<\/p>\n
A Russian news agency reported that the intention to visit remains, though there are some difficulties in understanding Kyiv’s position. According to the source, the US negotiators will come to Moscow, but by that time they will have a clear picture of Kyiv’s position.<\/p>\n
When asked whether the visit by Witkoff and Kushner could take place within the next two weeks, the source said that all possibilities are being considered.<\/p>\n
On October 9, talks took place in the US city of Miami between representatives of the United States, Ukraine, Britain, Germany, France, the European Commission and NATO. The talks ended ahead of schedule and a second round of negotiations planned for October 10 was cancelled.<\/p>\n
The US website Axios, citing sources, claimed that during the Miami talks Witkoff and Kushner cautioned the Ukrainian delegation that if Kyiv refuses to make concessions, Washington could cut off its access to US intelligence information.<\/p>\n
