MOSCOW (Voice of Russia): Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development and Ministry of Defense have started reviewing joint steps to strengthen protection of Yandex’s data centers following drone strikes.<\/p>\n
Russian Digital Development Minister Maksut Shadaev told the State Duma that Yandex had faced attacks of an unusual nature. He said the two ministries are assessing how to effectively secure data centers and related digital infrastructure.<\/p>\n
According to Shadaev, the fact that Yandex’s services kept running despite the large-scale attacks demonstrates that the company has given proper attention to backup systems and data reserves.<\/p>\n
