RIYADH (Voice of Russia): A fresh attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Sunday killed a Pakistani citizen and injured 11 people.<\/p>\n
Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said in a statement on the social media platform X that the attack, which took place on Sunday afternoon, killed a Pakistani national residing in Saudi Arabia, while 11 others were injured.<\/p>\n
According to the report, as a precautionary measure, Riyadh’s main international airport is likely to remain closed to flights until the end of Sunday.<\/p>\n
Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition, said an unidentified missile struck the passenger terminal of Riyadh’s international airport, causing a fire.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed that the Ansarullah movement also targeted Saudi oil company Aramco’s installations in addition to the Riyadh and Dammam airports.<\/p>\n
