MOSCOW (Shahid Ghumman): The second Global Digital Forum will begin in Moscow tomorrow, October 8. The three-day forum will run until October 10 at the ‘Mechta’ complex in Gorky Park.<\/p>\n
760 delegates from 120 countries will participate in the forum, including deputy prime ministers, digital development ministers and senior government officials from Africa, Asia, the Gulf states, Europe and Latin America, as well as Russian and international experts.<\/p>\n
Participants will discuss global trends in digital transformation, advanced technology for digital infrastructure, cooperation between different countries, and the integration of new products and technologies into national digital systems.<\/p>\n
The Global Digital Forum will also bring together representatives from the public and private sectors, educational institutions, international organizations, civil society and various professional associations.<\/p>\n
Around 60 sessions, negotiations, educational programs and interactive activities will be held during the forum. The program includes topics such as digital reality in culture, integrated projects in various economic sectors, national digital strategies, the knowledge economy, the digital future of the creative economy, and artificial intelligence opportunities for new content markets.<\/p>\n
Experts will also discuss the future economy based on artificial intelligence agents, national digital sovereignty, the safe use of new technologies, and the prospects of connecting developing countries to modern digital systems.<\/p>\n
This year, several new programs are being introduced at the forum, including the IT Journalism School and the Bloggers School. These programs will train journalists and digital content creators in new technologies, modern media platforms and the use of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n
During the forum, an alliance for the digital sovereignty of African countries and a global alliance to protect children from online threats will also be introduced.<\/p>\n
According to the organizers, more than 100 agreements on digital technology and international cooperation are expected to be signed by the end of the three-day forum.<\/p>\n
The second Global Digital Forum is being organized with the support of the Russian government, the Ministry of Digital Development and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n
The Moscow government is the general partner of the forum, PSB Bank the strategic partner, the A7 Russian international settlement system the special partner, and VKontakte the official partner. Roscosmos, the TsNIIMash space and science center, RIA Novosti, Kommersant, Positive Technologies and Ruwiki are also among the forum’s partners.<\/p>\n
