{"id":1365,"date":"2026-08-29T08:12:49","date_gmt":"2026-08-29T08:12:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/voiceofrussia.net\/en\/?p=1365"},"modified":"2026-08-29T08:12:49","modified_gmt":"2026-08-29T08:12:49","slug":"major-speech-at-eef-and-series-of-international-meetings-at-sco-summit-putins-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voiceofrussia.net\/en\/2026\/08\/29\/major-speech-at-eef-and-series-of-international-meetings-at-sco-summit-putins-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Major speech at EEF and series of international meetings at SCO summit: Putin\u2019s schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"90\" data-end=\"348\">Moscow:(Shahid Ghumman) Russian President Vladimir Putin is set for a packed diplomatic and economic schedule in the coming days, with a visit to Bishkek for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit followed by participation in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"566\">According to Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov, Putin will travel to Kyrgyzstan on August 31 and September 1 for the SCO summit, where around 20 to 25 documents, including the Bishkek Declaration, are expected to be adopted.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"777\">The Russian president is also scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games on August 31. During the summit, it will be announced that Kazan will host the seventh World Nomad Games in 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"863\">Nine bilateral meetings are planned for Putin on the sidelines of the SCO gathering.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"1014\">On August 31, Putin is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1261\">His diplomatic agenda will continue on September 1 with talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The Kremlin says the meeting will be particularly significant in light of developments in the Middle East and the situation surrounding Iran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1404\">Putin will also meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with discussions expected to focus on Ukraine and developments in the Black Sea.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1406\" data-end=\"1573\">A meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also planned, where Armenia\u2019s growing orientation toward Europe is expected to be among the issues discussed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1697\">The Russian president is also due to hold talks with the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Mongolia during the summit.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1779\">After completing his SCO engagements, Putin is expected to speak to journalists.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1781\" data-end=\"1901\">The Russian leader will then travel to Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum, which will run from September 1 to 3.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"2112\">Putin is scheduled to deliver a major address at the forum\u2019s plenary session on September 3.
