Moscow (Voice Of Russia):\u00a0 Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, visited the historic Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Estate, the former residence of renowned Russian writer Leo Tolstoy, where he held discussions on enhancing cultural and academic cooperation between Pakistan and Russia.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Ambassador Tirmizi met with Ekaterina Tolstaya, Director of the Yasnaya Polyana Museum-Estate, and Galina Alekseeva, Research Director of the institution.<\/p>\n
The discussions focused on prospects for expanding cooperation in literary studies, translation projects, and academic exchanges. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening scholarly engagement and agreed to explore opportunities for greater participation of Pakistani researchers and academics in the museum-estate\u2019s intellectual and cultural initiatives.<\/p>\n
