MOSCOW (voice Of Russia): Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that Serbia will continue to make decisions based on its national interests despite pressure from the European Union, emphasizing that unity and cooperation among Eurasian nations are essential for a stable future.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the sidelines of the \u201cEurasia \u2013 Territory of Traditional Values\u201d forum in Moscow, Peskov said the European Union is attempting to force Serbia into choosing between maintaining relations with Russia and pursuing EU membership, calling the approach inappropriate and unbalanced.<\/p>\n

He stressed that every sovereign country has the right to develop balanced relations with multiple states in line with its own national interests. According to Peskov, imposing such rigid and conflicting conditions on any country is fundamentally wrong.<\/p>\n

The Kremlin spokesman expressed confidence that Belgrade will navigate the current complex situation by prioritizing its national interests and maintaining an independent foreign policy despite external pressure.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the significance of Eurasia, Peskov described the region as a unique space where hundreds, if not thousands, of ethnic groups and nations have coexisted throughout history. He noted that while each nation preserves its own culture, traditions, and history, their roots remain deeply interconnected.<\/p>\n

Peskov emphasized that traditional values cannot survive in isolation, warning that they lose their strength if separated. He called for collective efforts across Eurasia to preserve and strengthen these values.<\/p>\n

He further noted that traditional values, while rooted in the past, are also oriented toward the future and must continue to evolve with time.<\/p>\n

According to Peskov, cooperation across Eurasia is key to ensuring a bright and stable future, as unity strengthens nations, while division leads to vulnerability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
