Moscow ( Voice Of Russia): A ceremonial reception was held at the Russian Foreign Ministry on the occasion of Orthodox Easter, hosted by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, senior clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church, representatives of other traditional religions, Russian public figures, and members of the diplomatic corps.<\/p>\n

Lavrov \u043f\u043e\u0437\u0434\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0438\u043b (congratulated) the participants on the holiday and praised cooperation between the ministry and the Church, noting its role in strengthening moral foundations of international relations, fostering trust and mutual respect among nations, and providing spiritual support to Russians abroad.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the foreign minister also addressed key global issues, including the protection of Christian communities in the Middle East, North Africa, and other regions, as well as the importance of preserving traditional values and promoting dialogue between civilizations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
