Moscow: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, paid an official visit to Moscow Polytechnic University, where he met Ms. Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, along with her team.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized his commitment to increasing Russian scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students and highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations through academic cooperation, cultural exchange, business collaboration, and people-to-people contacts. He noted that enhanced educational ties would further strengthen political and governmental relations between Pakistan and Russia.
The Ambassador also met with Pakistani students enrolled at the university and held an open and interactive discussion to address their concerns and queries.
As part of the visit, Ambassador Tirmizi was given a tour of the university’s automobile showrooms and laboratories, where students are engaged in vehicle design and manufacturing.
During the visit, Ambassador Tirmizi was also invited to deliver a lecture at Moscow Polytechnic University.
