Luhansk (Voice of Russia): A large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on the city of Pervomaisk in the Luhansk People’s Republic shattered nearly 80 windows across seven residential buildings and severely destroyed the city’s archive building. No casualties were reported in the attack.
The city’s head, Sergey Koligin, said Pervomaisk came under a massive drone attack during the night. The strike targeted the industrial zone, while residential areas were also affected.
According to preliminary information, the facades and windows of seven apartment buildings were damaged, with a total of 77 windows shattered.
The drone attack also badly destroyed the Pervomaisk city archive building. A fire broke out at the site of the strike and was extinguished by personnel of the Russian emergencies ministry.
According to Sergey Koligin, no one was killed or injured in the attack. Local residents are helping archive staff retrieve surviving documents and records from the destroyed archive.
The city administration has begun registering the damage to the affected residential buildings. Affected residents are also being informed about the procedure for damage compensation.
