Islamabad (Voice of Russia): Pakistan has successfully tested the extended-range version of its indigenously developed FATAH-4 ground-launched cruise missile.
According to the Pakistan Army’s public relations department (ISPR), the FATAH-4 extended-range version is equipped with modern avionics and state-of-the-art navigation systems, capable of striking targets at long range with high precision and effectiveness.
The statement said that during the test, additional technical parameters of various sub-systems of the missile were also validated, aimed at improving accuracy and making the system’s survivability even more effective.
ISPR said the successful test was witnessed by senior Pakistan Army officers, scientists, and engineers of the missile-developing organization.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal Asim Munir, and the three services chiefs congratulated on the successful test of the FATAH-4 extended-range version.
The senior military leadership praised the technical capability, dedication, and resolve of the scientists, engineers, and all concerned individuals who played a role in achieving this important milestone.
